In 2007 we took the plunge and bought our own piece of French ‘real estate’ – an old agricultural barn in northern Dordogne. A few years later – in April 2011, we finally made it here to start a new life.
We plan to convert ‘The Barn’ over the next few years and will be writing here about our progress.
We will be using our experience at timber framing to the full and will be building galleries, terraces and interior walls using new and reclaimed oak.
