Lapwing Farm is a beautiful old farmhouse in Somerset, that was restored in 2004-5. It is now in use as an education centre. We used the original oak tie-beams to restore the roof structure, with stunning results. We also installed new oak floor beams to create a mezzanine floor. The building, with our oak terrace at the front, can be seen on the architects’ website: Hetreed Ross Architects.
